Telephone Consultations

You may contact a GP by telephone if you feel your condition/query is of such a nature that a telephone call-back is adequate. You should call during opening hours where your name and details will be taken and passed to the relevant GP who will then telephone you. The GP may decide that your condition or query needs an appointment and will inform you of this. Please Note: If you wish to speak to a particular GP who works part-time, you will be telephoned back on the GP’s next working day.

If you cannot keep an appointment please let the surgery know giving as much notice as possible, another patient can then be seen in your place.

You can cancel an appointment by either:

The practice manager will contact patients who persistently fail to cancel or attend appointments, which can ultimately result in you being removed from our list.

Online Access

Why not register for our Online Service where you can access appointment booking and cancellations, medication, messaging into the practice and viewing some aspects of your medical records.

Advanced Appointment Booking

To see a GP most appointments are booked 48 hours in advance, although you can book appointments up to 3 weeks in advance.

Home Visits

The doctors request as far as possible that all patients should attend the surgery to be seen, as we are better equipped to see you here. If due to medical reasons a patient requires a home visit, please notify the surgery before 10am and give the receptionist as much information as possible. A GP may telephone you to assess the visit.
